Yes, those.
heh.
In which Miss.Mione throws a party and the rest search for pajamas.
Also, please be aware,
this is not me trying to write well.
This is me writing a story for my friends in about twenty minutes.
Thank you.
Miss.Mione skipped cheerily around her bedroom, preparing for the slumber party she'd promised her sisters. HJ was cowering outside in the hall, having been threatened with scary stories if she or PH tried to peek at the decorations before they were done. She hung streamers happily and poured chips into bowls with a strange enthusiasm. She could hear PH's irritated voice in the hall, accompanied with HJ. "But I want to seeeee!" PH whined.
"Well, you can't." HJ said stubbornly. "Cause if you do, Miss.Mione will tell me stories about ghosts and monsters and then I'll have nightmares. So you are staying right here!" Her face turned pale at the thought and she glared at PH as though PH was the one threatening her, not Miss.Mione.
PH folded her arms over her chest, "Miss.Mione doesn't scare me! Nothing scares me!"
Sighing, Miss.Mione stepped out into the hall, being careful not to let them see the room. "PH, Sissy, I know you want to see the room, but it isn't done yet, so why don't you two run along and get everybody and then you can get your pajamas while I decorate."
HJ grinned as she followed PH down the street. Relieved of the threat of scary stories, she was much happier and to top it off their first stop was picking up Jason, who HJ thought was utterly perfect. PH was searching for the mysterious Mrs Pigeon who sounded a lot like Miss.Mione, but was much ruder than her. She wore a pipe and hat and crawled on the sidewalk with her magnifying glass. "Do you see that, HJ? Pigeon tracks! Aha!"
HJ ignored her twin as they had just reached Jason's house! "Yay!" She shouted as she ran up the steps and knocked eagerly on the door. The door swung open and he smiled at her, "Hey." He said, "Time for the party already?"
"Oooooh!" Was all HJ said as she nearly fainted at his feet. PH passed the house, nose still to the ground. "Hurry up, lovebirds! The pigeon is this way!" She pointed ahead without looking up. Jason smiled at the still faint HJ and then stepped out of the house, taking her hand and pulling her along behind him. PH continued following the pigeon tracks, only vaguely aware of the footsteps of Jason and HJ behind her. She followed them dedicatedly all the way to the front door of a house. She stood up straight and rose one eyebrow at the familiar house. This was Nevey's house. "Nevey's house!?!" She exclaimed, "Who knew, all this time Nevey was the one making the pigeon say all those things!" She knocked on the door and waited impatiently for Nevey to answer.
"Hiiiii, guys!" Nevey said when she opened the door. "I'm all ready." She looked around curiously, "Why isn't Mrs. Owens here?"
"She's decorating, and don't you dare look at the room before she's done!" HJ declared from where she stood behind Jason. "She'll tell scary stories and I…" HJ's stubborn declaration was interrupted when Jason squeezed her hand. She looked down at her hand and then burst into a fit of embarrassed giggles. Nevey shrugged and shut the door behind her as she stepped outside of her house. Finally allowed to speak, PH pointed accusingly at Nevey, "You have a pigeon in there! An evil pigeon that sounds like Miss.Mione!" She nodded knowingly, "Admit it."
"A pigeon? That's a bit farfetched, PH." Nevey answered, raising an eyebrow and then brushing past PH to make kissy-faces at HJ and Jason. PH shrugged and gave up, her hat, pipe and magnifying glass mysteriously disappearing. She walked hurriedly over to where the other three stood, Nevey continuing with the faces and HJ and Jason looking annoyed and only somewhat embarrassed. "Where's your husband, Gaymin?" HJ asked, sticking her tongue out. Nevey promptly declared that that was not his name, and that he would be coming to the party later.
"Anyways," PH interrupted, "Who are we getting next? I want to get back to the house and see what Miss.Mione's done." HJ started laughing evilly and clapped her hands together, "Ohh, well speaking of Miss.Mione, we're picking up Taylor!" She shouted, a devilish grin on her face. Nevey giggled and said, "Oh you mean Mr. Owens?" HJ shook her head as Nevey once again got Taylor's lastname wrong, but said nothing and just pushed her along down the street in the direction of Taylor's home. It was Nevey who pounded on the door this time, an evil grin on her face as she did so. Taylor answered the door looking, as usual, rather bored. "MR. OWENS!" She yelled, "Are you sure Mrs. Owens didn't sneak off here?" She leaned over his shoulder to investigate the house as though hoping that Miss.Mione would jump out of a closet and prove Nevey's theory that two of them were secretly married. However, nothing happened except Taylor laughing at Nevey and responding, "It's Owen, and there is no Mrs." Before coming outside and shutting the door to his house in her face. "Can some one remind me why I'm going to a slumber party? Isn't it usually only girls?"
"Because you're hopelessly in love with Miss.Mione." Nevey piped up matter-of-factly from the back of the group. Taylor rolled his eyes. There was no point arguing with Nevey, "Right," he said, even as he shook his head, "But besides that?"
"Because otherwise you'd sit at your house and complain that you were bored all night." HJ said with a wise smile. Taylor didn't argue, and the conversation moved on to other things, such as how Nevey's husband was surely gay and hiding it.
"So!" Nevey said, louder than she might have usually, in order to put a stop to the conversation that she disliked. "Do we need to meet anyone else?" She glared at HJ and PH, who were the main two having the 'gay' conversation. Jason laughed and leaned down to tell HJ that she was cuter than him, at which point she quickly forgot the old conversation, "No!" she said, seemingly appalled by the very idea. PH, who was not distracted by this turned to Nevey and answered, "No, we don't. But we have to get pajamas now! Someone's stolen all of mine." She grumbled the last part and looked around with shifty eyes, as though the culprit might magically appear in front of her.
"Oh, yes, that's right!" HJ said, looking away from Jason with a grin, "We must search high and low and everywhere for PH's pajamas!" Everyone laughed as they looked at HJ, who was now standing in a heroic stance, and scanning the sky for pajamas. PH raised an eyebrow at her and then turned to share a meaningful look with Taylor, who was also staring skeptically at HJ. "Right," Taylor said, "High and low. Everywhere. Pajamas." He nodded as though this made sense to him and the bored expression returned to his face.
HJ noticed the odd stares she was getting and dropped her arms to her sides, embarrassed. "Uh.. But we do need pajamas?"
PH nodded, "Oh yes! I need pajamas! And they have to be the best pajamas in all the world, because they're for me!" Nevey stared at her, before laughing at her friend. HJ giggled and poked PH "Pssh, what, do you think Jensen's gonna show up at the party?" PH just laughed. "Well, if he did, obviously he'd love me, because I'm the best."
Taylor stood quietly, whistling for a while as the girls continued and then he sighed. "Uh... Right. Could we go?"
"Oooh! Eager to see Mrs. Owens?" Nevey piped up, grinning at him.
"Owen! Owen!" He said, clearly annoyed with her. HJ said nothing, she was too busy staring lovingly at Jason, who was watching the scene unfold with a confused look on his face.
"So you admit she's your Mrs!" Nevey shouted. Taylor glared at her. PH finally stopped the argument with a quiet cough. "Hello, I need pajamas!" She said, reminding them all that the world clearly revolved around her.
